It's OK to take your time. It's OK to play the long game. You don't need to go a million miles an hour. It's all OK. You're not training for Mr Olympia, you're training to be fit, lean and healthy. There's no time constraint. You're not trying to look good for summer. You're looking to be fit and healthy for life.
I've got plenty of leaving do's coming up now that I'm leaving Beijing. There's an array of food that I want to have before I go back. There'll be a lot of wedding related events over summer. No doubt its going to be difficult to lose weight and I'll probably be looking to maintain.
It's OK if it takes a few more months. Itr's OK if I've added another year to my journey. It's Ok if other people do it in record time. It really doesn't matter. I'm running my own race, at a speed that suits me and I'm getting better and better. Appreciate how I look now. How I feel now. Enjoy it. Enjoy the journey.
I lost weight in record time before and when I got there, I just wasn't ready. I remember thinking that it was better being at 75Kg. My habits weren't out of sink. I wasn't plagued by massive, uncontrollable cravings like a swarm of locusts annihilating me. I'm doing it slow and comfortable.
Earlier today I went to the dry cleaners. The guy was pretty lean. He looked fit and healthy. He was probably late forties or early 50s. He looked great. Thetas the goal. That's the dream and I'm on my way there...just a few more kilos, over time.
